Whitley Bay A pile on pressure at the top - Results

It was scrappy, but it was a win that took Whitley Bay A to within three points of leaders Blyth Town in the Newcastle Building Society Premier Division - with two games in hand.

Ryan Keltie and Jack Byerley profited from dead-ball deliveries into the Shankhouse box to give the Hillheads youngsters a 2-0 success.

Town, who've been runaway leaders all season, are now feeling a little pressure as they look to both retain their title and make the move up the pyramid.

It's heading towards squeaky-bum time, as Sir Alex Ferguson once so-elequently put it.
